Calling all youth baseball and softball players! The Valley Blue Sox want to include baseball and softball players, from T-ball to high school, in this year’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. To be featured, create a ten (10) second video clip of your athlete or group of athletes dressed in their uniform or Blue Sox apparel saying “We’re/I’m ready to play!”.
All video clips and questions can be sent to info@valleybluesox.com for a chance to be included in the 2021 virtual Hall of Fame Ceremony. Videos must be submitted by Wednesday, March 10th to be included in the ceremony.
Tips for a successful video submission:
- Hold your camera horizontally! If the video is recorded vertically, we may not be able to include your clip in the video.
- Keep it simple. All you have to do is get together with your teammates and/or dress up in your favorite baseball jersey to say the phrase "We're/I'm ready to play!".
- Make sure your cameraman's finger is away from the camera lens and microphone.
- Do multiple takes and pick your best one.
- Email your favorite take to info@valleybluesox.com with the subject line "Ready to Play video".
